Graphical holiday cheer
First, a Danny Kaye Christmas wallpaper--something special I've been saving up for a couple of weeks. The colorization job is mine--and so is the background. That was made, in part, with a wallpaper texture from a set I will be sharing sometime soon.
As for the next one...
Well, this just got totally out of hand.
It's an untitled Footlight Parade piece. I had started out with the perfectly nice intention of doing a Dick Powell wallpaper for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nuranar--and anyway, it sort of is. Kinda. A little bit. Because the screencaps took on a life of their own, resulting in a more general tribute to one of the funniest scenes in the film--and once I had Frank and Dick there serenading each other, I just had to include Jimmy's reaction, which is worth buying the movie for all by itself. It isn't a very consistent piece... but I find it hilarious. (Although we won't go into the incredibly bitter battle I had with Colonel Klink over it. The fact that this wallpaper exists at all is due to pure ornery stubbornness on my part.)
