I had tremendous fun with these icons of Frank. Instead of resorting to screencaps, I basically exhausted my tiny supply of usable photos of him. They all turned out wonderfully, and the way he looks in the first one... is not quite his usual cuddly cuteness. In a good way. ;)

I genuinely like Lauren; she's beautiful and sultry without ever being sleazy or cheap. Today's so-called actresses would do well to take a page from her book. Making these made me conscious of what utterly gorgeous clothes she wore (I especially covet her dress in 2-3). I rarely do icons of women, so this was a chance to try some softer, more girlish stylings--which was actually a lot of fun.

It's Bogart/Bacall, of course. It isn't very clear at that size, but those are handcuffs on Bogie's wrists. *g*
