I'm still indulging in a honeymoon period with my new discoveries in icon-making technique. Not that anybody cares, but I felt like posting some experiments with which I am quite pleased.

A slightly silly My Man Godfrey icon that apparently escaped from Barbie's Malibu Beach House. I created it when I was getting sleep-deprived, but it's amusing anyway.
And purely because I enjoy playing with pictures of him, a set featuring Fredric March and Norma Shearer. (Who has sort of won me over--especially as I'll be seeing her opposite Leslie Howard again later in the month.) The first two are from Smilin' Through, and the rest are from The Barretts of Wimpole Street; they're rather florid, but then, so are the films in question. Those are lyrics from the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" on the third one, of course.
