Six Wallpapers

classicicontest is now holding monthly wallpaper challenges, and most of these were entries for that. Here are Lon Chaney as the Phantom of the Opera, Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes, James Stewart in uniform, and three different variations on Jean Harlow.











The first Harlow wallpaper won second place, and Stewart and Rathbone tied for third. However, my favorite by far is the autumnal, cobweb-shrouded relic Lon Chaney. I'm especially delighted by how the Phantom text turned out; in fact, I was so pleased with it that I saved a copy of the "logo" for possible future use.

I'd consider doing larger resolutions if the computer I make my graphics on could handle it--but as things are, it would pretty much be asking for a crash. :Þ
