ScratchGrunge II Icon Textures
Presenting a sequel to my original and hugely successful ScratchGrunge textures. In this set there are sixty-six icon-sized textures in shades of gray grunge and filmscratch, with a few grungy border elements as well.

Credit and comments are much appreciated, of course. Please do let me know if you like my work!
TIP: to get different effects with these textures, try switching them to negative images, and/or adjusting the brightness/contrast. I could have used this method to make a massive amount of variations on just these textures, but I thought it would be better for folks to experiment with them on their own. (And you can still find my tutorial on how to make textures like these here).
This set is modeled by the exquisite Lauren Bacall. Here are the example icons separately.

(Incidentally, I'm astounded that literally within two minutes of my posting this set on DeviantArt, it had already gotten four downloads and two favorites. !!! )
If you enjoy my work and would like to show appreciation for it, I welcome tips in the form of Dreamwidth Points. (Enter my username "jordannamorgan" as the account you're buying for.)

I'll credit you on my resource post, of course. That these proved instantly popular? Would be because they are fabulous :)

Also, love the coloring in the Danny Kaye and James Cagney icons, any chance there's a tut for those too?
Oh, and downloaded :)
Thanks!

I do have a tutorial for these textures--I linked it on the DA page, so I'm surprised I forgot it here. :Þ

As for coloring, that varies quite a lot. I usually use colored textures. I'll have to think about how I would go about writing a tutorial, but since there's interest, I may try to work one out. :)
(Also, *giggles at your icon*)

Just one more question, how did you get the background on the Lauren Bacall icon in color?
Isn't that a great icon, credit to
