Oh here's the request page lol. I didn't see it before since this my first look at this community. ^^
Anyway, if it's possible and when you get a chance to, seeing as you have other projects to take care of, I'd like to see icons for A Tale of Two Cities.
Would like images of Walter Pidgeon, Greer Garson the early Barrymores (Lionel, Ethel and John) and Ann Sheriden also clips from 'THE WOMEN' ca 1939 and 'It Happened On 5th Avenue' ca 1947.
Just realized I have so-o-o-o many clips and images I would like that I had better stop for now in order for you to have a chance to get some of them done.
I have copied some of the ones you have already posted and will credit you as originator/creator.
Thanks for the requests! I'll see what I can do in the future. I have to make a lot of actual non-digital handicrafts in the next couple of months (jewelry, ornaments, and pet toys for the holiday season)--so I may not be putting out as many icons for a bit, but I do hope to get to all requests eventually.
Ann Sheridan might show up first--I have a lot of screencaps of her from Cagney films. I did make a few icons of Lionel Barrymore back in September (check the tag index), but I'm not sure if any of them qualify as "early".
In the near future, I may very well use some of the actors you're requested as the Star of the Week at classicicontest. (This is a sneaky way for me to give myself the occasion to icon them. *g*)
Hi! I love your style. I have lots of your icons on my HD and I'm using some now. I'm trying to decide to buy more space, because I really need it!
I was hoping you'd post a link to your Wolverine/Rogue icons in my commnity. It's @ loganandmarie. I'm sure the members love to see your work. Also, since this is a request page, I wouldn't mind if you'd make more Wolverine/Rogue ones. *g* But linking your older work would be awesome, too. Thanks for making such aweeoms stuff. I really hope to see you there.
Hello! I saw this icon, credited to you in the icon list of atreides74, and just wanted to let you know how much win it has.
Exactly how much win? Well, the needle on the gauge is buried all the way to the right. That's how much. (I'm sorry, I couldn't find the post it came from to place this comment in its proper spot.)
That icon features Michael Ironside as Ham Tyler in the "V: The Final Battle" miniseries. I have more "V" icons here. (That particular one came from the "Phase IV" post.)
Ah ha! I knew it was Michael Ironside but somehow missed the V: The Final Battle posts when I was browsing through the archives: chalk it up to inattention and the fact that I kept thinking it must be from Total Recall. :D
Ummmm....I was wondering whether you'd ever made/would consider making icons of the tv show "Gunsmoke"? I adore that show, and theres almost no icons out there of it.:( Thank you.:)
I've never been big on westerns myself, but if you could point me to a source for stills/screencaps, I could see about making some. (Probably textless, since I don't know the show or the characters.)
Would it be possible for you to put those Gunsmoke images in a zip file and upload it to a site such as SendSpace, so I could download them all at once? My computer doesn't get along especially well with PhotoBucket, so it would take me quite a long time to go through and save them one by one.
Go into whatever folder you have the images in, and in the toolbar up at the top, see if you can go to File >> New >> Compressed (zipped) Folder. If you can do that, all you need to do is name the zip folder, then copy/paste the images into it.
If you can't, I will try to go through the PhotoBucket and get them when I have time. I just wouldn't be able to get to them nearly as soon.
Okay...Here you go..I titled each picture what character(s) were in it so if you want to add text, you'd know their names.;) I choose the largest/clearest ones I had.If you want/need more, just let me know.:)
Hello. I have a request/questions for you. I'm not looking for an icon, but friend's only banners that feature classic horror movies/characters like Bela Lugosi as Dracula. Do you have any of those? And if not, could you make one? If not, that's fine; I understand. Thank you so much for your time and help! Tessa
Certainly I can do those--that will be fun! I don't often make friends-only banners because I don't use them myself, but since there's interest from others, I'll be glad to. :)
Hi.:) I was wondering whether you'd made any William Holden icons?:) Hes one of my very favorite actors, and I've had absolutely no luck finding icons of him.
If you're ever bored, perhaps you could do some icons of Lon Chaney Jr. in "The Wolf Man" and Simone Simon in "Cat People". Or perhaps Conrad Veidt in "The Man Who Laughs".
I like everything you've done with b&w horror icons--keep up the good work!
I have screencaps of The Wolf Man, and it's something I intend to get around to eventually. :) I do currently have at least one icon and a couple of wallpapers, which you can find under my Lon Chaney Jr. tag. :)
I have done a lot of Danny Kaye--who can certainly be considered a singer--and a handful of Frank Sinatra as well. But those icons focus mainly on their acting roles, of course.
Thanks very much. :) Yes, I would consider doing David Niven. I haven't done a great deal of icon-making lately, but I'll keep the request in mind next time I am working on some!
(And eww, no, you will never see slash here. I am absolutely not down with that.)
