Miss Frankenstein with a graphics program
May. 11th, 2007 09:59 pmI have an irrationally powerful desire to see Hugh Jackman in a fedora, and not for the first time, it has resulted in something truly cracked coming out of my PaintShop. This is by no means a flawless manipulation, but I thought some of you might get as much of a chuckle out of it as I have.
It occurred to me that in the future, when I try writing an X-Men/classic movie "remix" fanfiction I have in mind, I may want an appropriate icon for it. The result? Mutant Noir. Wolverine in a trenchcoat and fedora--and lighting up a cigarette, no less. (I tried fedora-ing some other Wolverine and general Hugh pics after that, but none of them turned out as well.)
If anyone would like to see me try doing 1930s versions of any other X-Men characters, ask away. The practice is good for me. *g*

Date: 2007-05-12 03:09 am (UTC)I should really try doing Wolvie's counterpart for the XWDF remix--Cyclops in Pat O'Brien's priest garb. (One of the images I tried to do was Hugh Jackman looking very 1930s and Saintly
and hotto begin with. ;) The scan wasn't very good, alas, and I could not possibly improve on the original picture.)I've never seen either of the animated series that have been done, nor read a comic book. My sole interest is the movies. I guess the basic concepts of the characters are the same, though.
