fan_flashworks backlog (and something I'm really surprised I didn't post here after I made them a few years ago). This is a set of image manips that feature traveling!Edward in real-life locations. The photographs used as bases in this image set were taken by me.

Mutant manipulations, part II

Second batch of X-Men 1930s/1940s photomanips, along with icons and wallpapers made from them. Jean and Scott are cast here in The Big Sleep, and then joined by Logan for Angels With Dirty Faces (as an illustration of sorts for my planned remix fic). Also a couple of requested icons of one manip from the previous batch.

Mutant manipulations, part I

wabbitseason, here are some new photo manipulations featuring the X-Men's Cyclops and Jean Grey, 1930s-style. Included are a wallpaper and half a dozen icons made from the manips. Again, I'm no expert at these--but they were fun to make, and hopefully they're fun to look at too.

Once I do a few more icons and wallpapers, I have some things coming up tomorrow night (probably) that should be even better: manipulations casting the mutants in The Big Sleep and my intended fanfiction remix subject, Angels With Dirty Faces.
In the near future, I'll be doing a small reorganizing of Animal Magnetism in order to archive these curiosities. Icons, wallpapers, manips, and so forth will be listed as subsections under a main "fanart" page.

Miss Frankenstein with a graphics program

I have an irrationally powerful desire to see Hugh Jackman in a fedora, and not for the first time, it has resulted in something truly cracked coming out of my PaintShop. This is by no means a flawless manipulation, but I thought some of you might get as much of a chuckle out of it as I have.
It occurred to me that in the future, when I try writing an X-Men/classic movie "remix" fanfiction I have in mind, I may want an appropriate icon for it. The result? Mutant Noir. Wolverine in a trenchcoat and fedora--and lighting up a cigarette, no less. (I tried fedora-ing some other Wolverine and general Hugh pics after that, but none of them turned out as well.)
If anyone would like to see me try doing 1930s versions of any other X-Men characters, ask away. The practice is good for me. *g*
